The Best Times to Visit Jordan during the spring (March-may) or Autumn(september -November),when the climate is at it`s most pleasant,the daytime temperature at Petra and Jerash can reach high as 25-30 c in the sun.winters(December-February) can be quite severe in the hills of the northen Jordan with the majiority of this region`s rainfall coming  during this period and the tempertures often dropping to as low as freezing,Even as far south Petra snow is not  uncommon during December and January. on the other hand,if the weather is good . Petra at the winter,with average temperatures in Aqaba and wadu Rum  are likewise very Pleasant during the winter with average tempertures in Aqaba of 15-20 C(The sea tempetature also remain very pleasant)although the daytime temperatures are ideal for walking and Climbing,It gets very cold at night.the dead sea and Jordan valley are also at their best in the winter with temperaure of around 20 C,Although it is in fact even more humid tnan the summer.

During the summer (June-August) it is scochingly hot throughout most of the Country,with tempertures often going well over the 40 C Mark,and Also extremly humid down on the redsea coat.Visiting sites such as Petra and Jerash in such conditions is very hard work,the dead sea ,the Jordan valley,where the humidity in the summer hot during the day,at the night temperatures fall significantely .even in the height of the summer,the higher altitudes and the good forest cover of the northern of the highlands make the hills to the north of amman somewhat cooler during the summer.
